Frequently Asked Questions

How Long does permanent makeup last?

Permanent makeup  can last a very long time if done correctly,  even up to TEN years.  Each specific procedure has its own approximate expected longevity.  Eyeliner, 5-10 years.  Eyebrows, 3-5 years.  Lips, 2-4 years.   These are approximate and there are many variables including age and skin texture.  Always keep in mind there will always be color where the pigment is implanted since this is a form of tattooing,  however it will fade over time just like any tattoo.  This is why it very important to choose an experienced professional.

Traditional Permanent Eyebrows (Micro-pigmentation) vs. Microblading

Microblading has been a fairly recent trend and it takes years to evaluate long term outcomes.   In my experience many people have been disappointed with the outcome and longevity of microblading,  needing to return for NUMEROUS touch-up appointments causing extra expenses they were not anticipating.   Traditional Permanent Eyebrows (MICROPIGMENTATION),  done correctly with brush strokes and multiple colors can give you a very natural appearance in just one appointment, often without any touch-up needed.   Microblading is done with a blade and Micropigmenatation is done using a small cluster of tiny needles (much like body tattooing) often with a machine specifically designed for permanent makeup procedures.
